Surge Team Vs. Team Tournament, 5/12 & 5/13
An exciting new Surge event is coming soon for all NYL players and families: The 1st Annual Surge Team vs. Team Tournament. Instead of ending our spring season taking part in other local tournaments (which have often proven to be non-competitive, badly run, badly refereed or a long drive – or a combination of these – in the past) Surge is going big with a fun-filled, inter-league tournament on Friday night, 5/12 and Saturday all day, 5/13. There, Surge players will compete against each other on the fields, with food trucks, hamburger and hotdog grilling and vendor tents for all Surge families to enjoy. Featured at this first-ever weekend will include:
• A GA Swarm Tent where you can purchase discount seats to the Swarm 5/20 playoff game and pick up Swarm items
• A Play-It-Again-Sports Tent where you can turn in old lax gear for new
• A Surge Swag tent with classic favorites for summer – cash or check only!
• A C2C LAX and LAX sample sale tent with HUGE discounts on great-looking pieces…with $ donated to Surge…cash or check only!
• A C2C LAX and LAX sample sale tent with HUGE discounts on great-looking pieces…with $ donated to Surge…cash or check only!
• A medical & hydration tent…just in case
• And much more!

We are looking forward to a great new event. Saturday, 5/13 is the league’s official last day to free up Sunday, 5/14 (Mother’s Day) for our players to devote the day to mom!
